Why Exercise is Important

For many of us, it is hard to find the time to go to the gym or pick up some weight and exercise at home. With work, school, kids, home cooking and cleaning, devoting our times to others or catching up on the much needed sleep so who has the time to exercise? The thing is that we actually need to exercise to keep a healthy body and heart running for a long time. If you don’t incorporate exercise into your daily routine, your body will slowly shut down and you will have many complications to deal with.

Exercise is actually very important in our lives and it is what will make us live longer or shorter if we don’t do it. With exercise you will improve your health and prevent different diseases like heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes to name a few. Since our bodies are designed to move, why not abide by it and exercise. With exercise you not only get to live longer you will also feel and look better because exercise delays the aging process. When you exercise you will be more energetic and will definitely improve your stamina. So what are you waiting for, get moving!

With weights or resistance exercise you will strengthen and tone your body, creating new and exciting muscles. Resistance training might also improve your posture and will certainly make you feel and look better. With exercise you not only get strong but will also enhance your flexibility. When you are more flexible you will have more balance and coordination as well as reduce the change of injuring yourself. Some stretching exercises can help you loosen your neck and upper back making you feel more relaxed.

With so many benefits of exercise, why are you not doing it? With exercise you will be able to control your weight and improve your quality of life. With exercise you will not only look and feel better you will also reduce your stress level, sleep better and help you feel more positive. Why wait till you go to the doctors and hear the bad news, start small now and see the difference that exercise can do for you. If you are a beginner start of slowly by exercising three times a week. Remember that your body will get used to the exercise and you will need to always increase the level either by increasing the weights or repetition of an exercise. After a while, you will see and feel the difference yourself and will wonder why you did not do this sooner. Join the world, get fit and feel better about yourself, exercise!
